Day 255- Rep. Rob Wittman (R, Virginia)

Rep. Rob Wittman of Virginia has been involved in public administration for quite some time now. In fact, he majored in it for his PhD. His experience in health policy is very interesting to me, from the perspective of campaigning for spina bifida awareness.

Wittman's extensive background in public health policy just might help the spina bifida cause.

Congressman Wittman has been a leader in Boy Scouts of America, and is a member of the Armed Services Committee. He has also been an environmental health specialist for many years.

On April 30th, the congressman hosted a forum to address issues that impact the women in his district.

As to the bills, Congressman sponsored a bill “supporting the goals and ideals of National Inflammatory Skin Disease Awareness Month.” That was pretty much the only health-related bill that was listed as being sponsored by him.

Stay tuned for my special update in just a few minutes!

Peace out,

Laurita ♥
