Hey, what are friends for? Apparently, “friends” are for giving back. Actress Jennifer Aniston, who is best-known for her ten-year run as “Rachel Green” on the hit sitcom “Friends.”
According to a source (okay, Wikipedia), Aniston is deeply involved in philanthropic efforts. She’s a supporter of El Faro, “a grassroots non-profit organization that helps raise money for Casa Hogar Sion, an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico.”
She has contributed to Project A.L.S., the US. Campaign for Burma, and Habitat for Humanity.
In addition, Aniston supports the Pediatric Cancer Foundation, the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, and AmeriCares.
Here’s another interesting fact: as if that résumé doesn’t already have your head spinning, Jennifer backs Feeding America and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), two organizations in which our friend Spencer Day is heavily invested.
I have lots to tell you about today, but it’ll have to wait until tomorrow. It’s late– and I can’t think anymore!
Tune back in…
Love,
Laurita ♥
