Here’s the scoop: since I met with musical artist Spencer Day, he has been in touch with me a few times. True to his word, he has demonstrated a very keen interest in the spina bifida awareness cause. He recently put me in touch with a relative of his who is also excited about this initiative, and is very willing to help. This person’s expertise would be a great asset to our efforts, and I am truly humbled and grateful that Spencer wasted no time in sharing my story with him and getting him interested.
Spencer’s direct involvement with this cause will take time, and I’m not sure just how long that will be. If you’re following him on his Facebook fan page , then you know he’s in the process of moving from L.A. to New York for the summer. Plus, he still has many performances lined up for the West Coast. This past weekend, Spencer performed at the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Salt Lake City.
So, he’s an incredibly busy man, but he’s got an incredibly kind heart, and I only expect good things from him. My hope is that he’ll find a way to make it back to Florida soon!
When I have something more concrete to share, I will. Stay tuned– and please keep enjoying his music and supporting him in any way you can!
[And this is why Spencer will make it big in a good way:]
“Too many people seeking power and fame Stepping on anyone that gets in the way Now I know how they wanna play that game But I want to find a better way”
–”Better Way” by Spencer Day

That’s great! I love hearing about when people do get more involved with you, or any sort of a reply. It’s encouraging!
Hey Tina!! It’s awesome to hear from you again. Yes, indeed, it is VERY encouraging. I can’t wait for Spencer to get involved with this cause. Needless to say, I’m very excited!
